Influenced by the 90s Super Furry Animals Song “Demons” this is my take on the artwork. My inspiration came from Hyakki Yagyō (百鬼夜行, “Night Parade of One Hundred Demons” from Japanese folklore – Often called Demon Scrolls, the scrolls are artwork that depicts each of the one hundred demons in long parchments scrolls. There are some wonderful examples of images from these scrolls here.
Demons was originally destined only for Cask, but after having such popularity it was decided that this beer should go into can and become part of Brithop’s Core Range.
