My first children’s picture book. So far, I have written the manuscript and illustrated 2 of the pages; I am currently looking for an interested publisher.
All the illustrations will be made by hand in traditional media – Watercolour and coloured pencil, on paper.
Aimed at ages 7+ – The Rat Pied Piper is a strange and whimsical retelling of the Pied Piper of Hamelin – With goblins instead of rats, and a tweed, patchwork-clad, 10ft rat is the Piper.
The Piper is asked to rid the town of the mischievous goblins for a hefty reward, but the story doesn’t end as expected.
A story aimed at promoting and embracing diversity and appreciation of other cultures.
